Description: A charming antique mid Victorian era child's bonnet or baby bonnet, circa 1850 to 1860. Made of dark navy blue silk velvet and trimmed with light brown fur that is very soft. Lined. No ties. Not sure what "size" this is. Definitely for a child. The measurement of the opening that goes around the face in front is 15 1/2" side to side along the curve. Laid flat, measured on 1 side, the depth from front along the bottom edge to the back is approx 7 3/4", making the bottom edge 15" in length. Thank you for looking.
