Publisher's original binding of quarter green cloth backing paper pictorial boards. Illustrated endpapers. Top edge stained blue. Fore-edge and bottom edge untrimmed. Pictorial boards lightly soiled, as is common with this issue. Rubbing wear to corners and spots on top edge. Remains bright and attractive. Spine darkened with minor rubbing wear to head. Brief gift inscription dated 1924 to half-title. Interior clean and bright. Save for several spots on three early pages, appears unread and unused. Interior near fine. A very attractive copy.
