Description: Splendid lot of seven pairs of authentic antique Georgian period long necked brass bun knob handles. They are not all original pairs but are well matched and all pairs include an original hand forged steel spindle. Size; largest are approx 45 mm diameter, smallest are 39 mm diameter. Weight, together they weigh 959 grams. Very nice set of handles in good condition overall. With minor dings and light general wear, three knobs with extra grub screw holes, and some of the spindles also have extra holes. A total of 5 grub screws are missing and some of the remaining ones with worn thread; see pics. A hard to find lot that is enough pairs for a typical house renovation. These will likely require some fettling to fit as the knobs are a tapered fit to the spindles and the adjustment is limited.
