Description: You are viewing an interesting lot of 6 glossy photographs which were removed years ago from an old travel/photo album from around 1910-1920 documenting a holiday in South Australia. All are from the Adelaide area. 5 of the photos are official Government photos, supplied by the Intelligence & Tourist Bureau, the sixth photo is unmarked and shows a passenger car fitted out with railroad wheels. I'm not sure if this is an official railroad inspection car, but there were other photos in the album showing 4 people in and around the car. The large photo is a view of North Terrace, Adelaide, showing the public library, art gallery etc. and measures about 11" x 9 1/2". The 5 smaller photos measure 8" x 6 1/4" and are: Adelaide Plains from Montacute - ss Marion near Swan Reach, River Murray - Waterfall Gully Reserve (7 miles from Adelaide) - Melbourne Express in Mt. Lofty Ranges - railroad car. Please view photos for condition and contact me if you have any questions - thank you.
