Description: These 6 poker chips are in very good condition. They actually started producing these back around 1905-1910. They are actually shellack-clay chips and are often called Bakelite chips. They measure 39 mm across and 3 mm thick, weighing 7.5 grams each. These chips do have the circle triangle design on both sides. The colors are:BlueGreenPurpleMaroon YellowPinkAdopted at the 20th Anniversary International Convention in St. Louis, the circle and triangle symbol was registered as an official AA mark in 1955. The circle stands for the whole world of AA, and the triangle stands for AA’s Three Legacies of Recovery, Unity, and Service. But a long story made short, because of the controversy of owning a logo, sometime in the 1980s GSO decided to drop the whole ownership deal. However, these chips do have that old AA circle triangle design and thus they make a nice piece of bling for some AA member.Anyway, please feel free to email with any questions.
