5/8” AKRO AGATE SPARKLER MARBLE Ca 1925-30 WV U.S.A. NEAR MINT Green Yellow Bro

Description: Antique AUTHENTIC MACHINE MADE Circa 1920's -1930's AKRO AGATE SPARKLER MARBLE Consisting Mainly of GREEN, YELLOW, and BROWN FILAMENTS in Contrast to the Clear Base. Measures approximately 5/8" in diameter. Clarksburing, WEST VIRGINIA made Sparkler. I am not a marble expert - but I did my homework to the best of my ability and used a 30x jeweler's loupe to examine this marble very closely. Based on that inspection, I would rate this Sparkler as NEAR MINT. There are a few small chips here and there, but most of what you will see in the MACRO PHOTOS I took (please see photos # 7-12) are bubbles inside the marble (at least, that's what I'm assuming they are). I definitely did NOT see any cracks, moons, or other more major imperfections. When I looked at photo examples of marbles rated as "good", this looking NOTHING like them. It truly looked most like the examples in the "near mint" category. NOTE: Photo # 6 was taken with the marble in front of a HIGH INTENSITY LIGHT so you could see into the TRANSLUCENT PARTS of the marble. A very kind fellow eBayer who is a DEALER AT MARBLE SHOWS took a good look at some high quality scans of this marble and said that if it was at his dealer table, he WOULD PUT $50 ON IT. But, I'm going to give you an even better price considering this is eBay. Because I am NOT a marble expert and because REFLECTIONS show up in photos which can obstruct the marble's true image, marble is being "sold as is".This was bought in an online auction from an up and coming auctioneer on a nationally known and very reputable auction site. I know him personally and he is as honest as they come. ****THIS is a HIGH QUALITY MARBLE and WOULD MAKE A NICE ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION.
