The 2014 coin in the series featured a Yellowfin Tuna, and was met with a robust reception from investors and collectors. Tokelau is a tropical territory of the nation of New Zealand that consists of three small, tropical coral atolls and is located northwest of New Zealand. The atolls boast a combined land area of just 4 square miles, and the territorial capital rotates between the three atolls on a yearly basis. On the reverse side of these Tokelau coins is the image of the worlds deadliest marine predator. A Great White Shark is seen swimming amongst a school of fish, with its tooth filled mouth open and ready to capture its next meal. Engravings on this side include Mokoha-Great White Shark and Tokelau. The obverse side bears a unique rendition of the opposite side of New Zealand Mint coins. Queen Elizabeth IIs right-profile portrait, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, is included, along with the Tuluma. In Tokelau culture, the Tuluma is a wooden tackle box used by the islands fishermen, and has become a national symbol.
