This tree is hardy and has increased production over the years. Nuts typically drop in late October to November. Growing in SC zone 8b, this tree has proven drought and heat tolerant. The growth rate is moderate, typically gaining about 2-3 feet per year. Expected height could reach up to 100 feet and 40 to 75 feet in width.
