Since 2014 Aimpoint changed some components of the CET, ACET, 7000, 9000, CompC, CompC3 series for example, such as the rubber strap, the covers for the adjustment screws and the battery lid. The new components are lacking the mount for the rubber strap. The cap listed here has the rubber strap mount, the newer battery caps are lacking their feature, however we have been informed the cap itself is indeed the same. These do not fit the original Aimpoint CompM XD, which was from 1997 and discontinued in 2000.
