Import guitars (e.g., Epiphone, Ibanez, PRS SE models, ESP) typically have metric holes around 1/4" in diameter, while these pots require 3/8" diameter holes.Note the bushing height - These 3/8" pots are short shaft but are slightly taller than some 1/4" bushing 250k pots, which enhances their compatibility with various guitar models.
