When polymer technology was introduced to Australia's circulating currency between 1988 and 1996, world-wide demand for Australian notes sky-rocketed. Note Printing Australia (NPA) introduced a range of collector products featuring the last of the old paper notes and the first of the new polymer notes, and these were hugely popular. The most popular (of the many!) products released by NPA were the "First and Last" folders. These were released on the same day each new polymer denomination was issued into circulation - a very limited number had the date embossed on the cover of the folder. This folder features one of the last paper Fraser Cole $10 notes printed, and one of the first polymer Fraser Cole $10 notes. They are keenly sought by collectors, and are regarded as being a reasonable equivalent to "mint" coin sets - the notes included are the same as those that could be obtained from circulation, but remain in "mint" condition. It's crazy the price you can get these folders for relative to the scarcity of the individual notes they contain. Specifications Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
