1991 1st Rel. Felicity Pleasant Co American Girl Doll w Box, Meet Accessories

Description: Adult collector and original owner all these years - this FIRST RELEASE Felicity is a beauty. I was told she was kept in her box, and this stunning doll surely looks that way. She showed me the original receipt from 1991 (but neglected to give it to me!) Felicity has very squeezable vinyl, GORGEOUS shiny silky hair (feels like human hair), natural facial coloring, and is very clean with no marks or odors. Her hair elastic had disintegrated (see pic). The only flaw I could find with this beauty were her eyelashes - it appears that one set is slightly different from the other - possibly factory issue, or from storage. Felicity can easily hold a pose, and her eyes function normally. She is wearing her meet outfit- dress (looks like new) is tagged "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986." Her undergarment has the same tag. Felicity also has her cream hair ribbon, stockings (replacements - originals had too many holes) and black colonial shoes. Felicity also comes with her accessories. Original mob cap was very yellowed, so replaced it with a like new Pleasant Company cap. (If buyer wishes to have the original socks and cap, will be happy to include). She also comes with her garters (which were new in package), purse, and handkerchief. The book, "Meet Felicity", Reading Journal, and 1991 "Felicity Merriman" pamphlet are also included. She comes in the burgundy box which has shelf wear - lots of rubs, especially along the edges. The heart on the end has the initials "EDP" which someone drew a line through and wrote "F". (Guessing they thought they had the wrong box for Felicity!) The band has one slight rip. There is definitely something about this Felicity that feels special - personally, I think she's the nicest Felicity I've seen.
