Description: This is an extremely rare 1988 Topps Mark McGwire #3 ‘87 Record Breakers baseball card with 12 misprints and 1 error. The only picture displayed that is not the one for sale is picture #2. All other pictures are of the card that’s for sale. Picture #2 is displayed as a reference to picture #1 of what the card should look like without any errors or misprints. The white triangle error by Mark McGwire’s foot in the bottom right corner of the card is a known error for the #3 card, it was corrected by Topps with card #3a. Since this is card #3 it’s the true error card. The red color in the white background of the letter ”D” in the word RECORD and the yellow circles I’ve seen before doing research on the card. Only 1/1,000 Mark McGwire #3 white triangle error cards that I researched had the red color. The biggest misprint on the card is the 11 yellow circles. One on Mark McGwire’s helmet, and 10 profound yellow circles on the red background on the cards front. Not only was Mark McGwire a great baseball player, but having a known corrected error, which lowers the cards population to the #3 card only and 12 noticeable misprints on the front of the card lowers the cards population exponentially. The probability is less than 1% that an identical card to this one exists, which is why the card is so rare. It’s definitely a one of a kind baseball card.
