Description: Garcia Mitchell 401, high speed spinning reel, manufactured in France in January 1975, serial number E031301 engraved on the foot. Comes in black and red clam shell box with yellow tray, extra spool in Mitchell container and paperwork. The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a solid click. The box is solid, with no cracks and the red 401 label on one side. The yellow tray has one small crack where the spool sits (see pictures). The extra spool is in a Mitchell plastic container with a small crack in the lid. Both spools have a Garcia Royal Bonnyl sticker on the bottom (see pictures). The paperwork is clean and in very good condition for its age. This is an excellent condition, fully functioning, almost 50 year old reel, in it's original case with paperwork, to fish with or add to a collection.
