Scene Description: The façade of St. Paul's Church which is all that remains of the building which, completed in 1637, was considered a wonder of the time. It was designed by Father Spinola, and the labor carried out by Japanese artisans who were Christians. Attached to the church was a seminary for the training of missionaries, which caught fire in 1835, the flames of which also destroyed the church. August 26, 1966.
