Pack fresh Nice centering Nice corners Smooth surfaces High number Vintage ‘59 Garcia pitched 14 seasons in the majors after signing with Cleveland in ‘42. Garcia was an outstanding pitcher you don’t hear a lot about these days. He had a 4 year stretch with Cleveland where he won 20 or more twice, and two near misses with 19 and 18 wins in ‘53 and ‘54. In his rookie year in the majors he took the ERA title with a nifty 2.36 ERA, winning 14 and losing 5 games for the year. He won a second ERA title in ‘54 with a 2.64 mark. He spent 12 years with Cleveland and had two short stays with the White Sox and the Senators. He was released in ‘61 from the Senators. He finished with a lifetime 142 and 97 won lost record with a 3.27 ERA.
