This series started in 1936 with the "New Edition" Brown box then "New Edition" Black box 8 or 9 different Diamond Box variations were made. This set design was made from 1946 to 1951 In 1946 "Reg" was changed to Registered, which remained that way through 1951.This game has the short game instructions dated 1947. This game set comes complete the early style Monopoly Money. Also all 28 Property cards, All 16 Chance Cards, All 16 Community Chest Cards, 12 Wooden Hotels, 32 wooden Houses, Pair of Dice, Orginal Instructions from 1935 (missing part of it see photo) and 1947 short game instructions, and a nice piece of sales liturature. Original Metal Game tokens including the Old style car with driver, The older style Howitzer, the Hat with charm hole, the shoe, the "for a good girl" Thimble, The old style Ship, and the iron.
