Description: Up for sale is a vintage – LIKE NEW - 1940s - 1950s Montgomery Ward Powerhouse 101 Denim Jacket, men’s, Size 38-40. It is a size 38 for sure, but I am a size 40 and it fits fine on me, so only buy this if you are a men’s size 38 or 40. This incredible find, is virtually new. It has been worn because you can tell by looking at the sleeves near the cuffs, but it has not been worn many times. In my opinion, it has never been washed and is stiff, just like it came from the store. The reason I think it’s never even been washed is if you look at picture number 4, the thread sticking out is still tightly wound, and this would not appear as such after washing. You can always tell on a Ward’s 101 jacket how much it has been used by seeing how much paint is on the “101” on the snaps. This jacket looks and feels like maybe it was purchased a month or two ago and worn very few times, most extraordinary.
