Description: From a WW2 Veteran Estate Sale. We will be posting multiple items for Collectors. These Auer Model 295 German Luftwaffe Goggles are dated 1940 and include 6 pairs of lens (5 pairs and the set on the Goggles) as well as one extra lens. These Goggles are in very good condition and have not been cleaned or restored in any way. The photos are of the goggles being sold. You will notice some cracks in the rubber around the brand name and some scratches in the metal black frame. The 5 extra pairs of lens have been stored in protective covers (which will be included) and do not appear to have any scratches. The pair attached to the googles do not appear to have been scratched. For historical purposes, the Veteran who owned theses was in the 4th Armored Division which played a key role in the Battle of the Bulge and supported the encircled US forces in Bastogne, Belgium. These items were shipped back (in a handmade wooden box) to the USA after the war. The goggles have only been taken out of the wooden box a few times since then to show friends and family.
