Description: This is a souvenir replica of a $50 Gold slug that dates to 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition World's Fair in San Francisco, California in 1915. This is gold plated or gold filled and was made by C.G. Brinker in San Francisco. The piece is octagonal and measures about 1 9/16 inches across. These are fairly rare and this one looks to be in better condition that the few others I have seen. This came from an abandoned safe deposit box in Michigan.
