Written by William Bernhardt Tegetmeier, an English naturalist, a founding member of the Savage Club, and correspondent and friend of Charles Darwin. Illustrated by Frederick William Frohawk, an English zoological artist and lepidopterist. CONDITION Bound in full green cloth. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small split to the page edges. Light age toning to the endpapers.
