Description: A fine, used full set of 9 Labuan stamps from 1894. The word 'LABUAN' is overprinted in black, on North Borneo stamps. Perforations and centring generally very good. Colours are excellent. SG69-74. On the reverse sides there are some traces of prior hinges. IMPORTANT: I believe the value of Labuan 1894 used stamps, with grid cancellations like these, is lower than those with clear postal cancellations. Hence the selling price is lower than might be expected. So if you've browsed an online guide and are wondering why they're offered at this price, that's the reason.
