Description: This is a 24x36 high quality high resolution reproduction on 70 lb. thick stock paper (see my feedback) 1885 Atlas/Map of Ward 19. PLAT 19: Midtown Manhattan from East 64th Street to East 76th Street and Avenue A (now Sutton Place) to Fifth Avenue and includes the original New York Presbyterian Hospital before it moved to 168th Street and Broadway. Other great historical landmarks include schools, the Seventh Regiment Armory and the future home of Hunter College then called Normal College, factories, lumberyards, previous landowners and old roads that are superimposed over the existing 1885 roads and date to the 18th Century and much more! The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, grey is concrete, blue is iron and pink is brick. The Xs through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable. Brown indicates stone structures. Other sizes available upon request: 11x14, $22.95; 16x20, $29.95; 20x24, $32.95; 24x36, $49.95; 36x48, $79.95. I am selling my collection of rare maps.
