Description: Original antique 1824 leather bound copy, "A Gazetteer of the State of Vermont; Containing a Brief View Of the State, A Historical and Topographical Description of All the Counties, Towns, Rivers & c." The book is overall in good condition with signs of wear and age. It lacks the map, though the three illustrated plates are still present. The covers have some moderate wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a nice period name inscription to the front fep. The first few leaves are slightly tatty around the edges and are slightly off-kilter. The interior is toned from age with some occasional foxing and minor staining. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased corner, small chip or tear, light bit of soiling or grubbiness, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 6 5/8 inches by 4 1/2 inches and is 310 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
