Description: You are bidding on: A vintage original US military training film. I believe it was used in flight simulator type training for B-24 crews. The film is 16mm, b&w and appears to have a sound strip. It is 400+ feet long. I believe that it was made in the 1940s. It does not have any credits. It shows quick and stealthy simulated attacks from behind on the B-24, by both Japanese and German planes, including the Mitsubishi 00, Nagoya 00, Nakajima 97, Kawasaki 98, Mitsubishi 96, Messerschmitt 109 and 110, Junkers 88, Focke-Wulf 190 and others. Each enemy plane is introduced with a label, and other frames let the crew know the speed their bomber is flying. I watched it on a manual viewer and snapped some pictures. The Dupont Safety Film is on a metal reel, and comes in a metal canister. The tape label reads, "Army-Navy Training Film". Condition: The film is in good condition. It has a bit of a vinegar odor.
